The holiday shopping season is upon us and we all have those people on our list who are impossible to shop for! Well the I’ve got your back with some recommendations for gamers of all ages on your holiday shopping list.
Marvel’s Spider-Man ($59.99 – PlayStation 4): Previewed in the first edition of the BP Times, PlayStation 4 owners of all ages will be delighted by this Game of the Year candidate. Swing through New York as an older, more experienced Peter Parker tracking down crime bosses Kingpin and Mr. Negative.
Forza Horizon 4 ($59.99 – Xbox One): Race through the back country of England in the latest entry of the Forza Horizon series. Featuring real life cars from around the world, Forza Horizon 4 breaks from the regular Forza formula by going off track and adding dynamic weather from all four seasons. This allows ice racing on frozen lakes in winter, muddy backroads in spring, and highway racing in the summer and fall.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy ($39.99 – PlayStation 4, Xbox One): The original Spyro trilogy is back and remastered with glorious HD graphics. This game will keep be a fun trip down memory lane for older gamers and a new treat for younger fans of the Skylanders series. Play as Spyro the Dragon (voiced by Sponge Bob Squarepants voice actor Tom Kenny) through Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage, and Year of the Dragon.
Red Dead Redemption 2 ($59.99 – PlayStation 4, Xbox One): Take a trip through the wild west as told by Grand Theft Auto creator, Rockstar games. This game tells the tale of outlaw cowboy Arthur Morgan and lets you decide what side of the law you want to live on. Rated M for Mature, this one is for the grown-up gamers on your list.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate ($59.99 – Switch): Nintendo’s smash hit fighting game comes to the Switch on December 7th. This is the 5th entry in the Super Smash Bros series and features every single fighter from the previous 4 titles, plus a few newcomers bringing the total roster size to 74 playable characters. Nintendo fans of all ages will be happy to find Super Smash Bros Ultimate under the tree this year.
Fortnite ($29.99 – PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch): The 2018 phenom is coming to a retail this holiday season. Fortnite is the online battle royale game that has set records for play Although the game box does not include a game disc or cartridge, this $30 package includes a special deep freeze character, backpack, glider, axe, and $10 worth of in game currency.
